My current employer is signed up to the Living Wage Foundation. I'm not sure what the process involves, but they send you lovely signs and window stickers so that you can let people know you're a living wage employer.

I have friends and relatives who work for both Lidl and Aldi and yes their rate of pay is good. One of them left Marks and Spencer where they were earning less than £8ph for quite a responsible position to go to Aldi where she sits on the tills for £10ph, but then compare that to Asda where the rate is minimum wage, but all of these jobs are at least paying the minimum wage

I posted this really because I wondered how many staff were employed in practices doing an apprenticeship where they can be paid as low as £3.30ph
