Yep any sort of CPD such as reading journals can account for a maximum of 5 hours per year.

According to my CPD Record card - Undocumented private studies (Reading to you and me) can account for no more than 5hrs per year.

I thought self directed learning (that's reading to you and me!) could copunt for 5hrs per year. I hope so as I put that down last year and recently sent mine off for one of the spot checks so I'm sure my knuckles will be suitably rapped if not!

I think it can count for up to 5 hours over the 3 yrs (or it may be per year I cant remember!)

I think only so many hours count towards CPD (will have to check exactly how many) and its just up to you to be honest about what you have read and for how long...
