Hi, i found your post and was wondering the best way to find a trainee veterinary nurse placement and whether i need any previous qualifications? I live in Ilkeston so anything in Derby, Nottingham or anywhere else close would be perfect.

Possibly! We have students all over the country, and they can often stay with friends and relatives as well to enable to complete their placement. If you send me an email address I can ask one of our industrial training managers to get in touch with you.

We are just going through the TP application process at the moment.

I would obviously need to speak to the practice principal before promising anything but do you need a placement in South Wales? We're based in Merthyr Tydfil.

I have students all over the UK as they tend to go back to their homes and attend placements there. Where are you based?
