She recommended getting a faecal sample, treating for coccidia and run bloods (biochem and haematology). She would be worried about congenital liver issues or nutritional deficiencies. &lt;p&gt;ive hand reared many a kitten and don&amp;#39;t recall any being as you describe. Have you wormed him? &amp;nbsp;Is he pooing ok? Coat wise has he been treated for fleas? Could he have mites or ringworm perhaps? Which milk and food is he on? Maybe he needs a different brand?&lt;/p&gt;

I&amp;#39;ve been handrearing a kitten from 2 days old, he&amp;#39;s now 4 weeks old, starting to eat solid food as well as on the bottle too, bright, walking about and meowing etc, weeing an pooing too,  my concern is his coat is not great sparse and thin , he looks quite bloated too, is this how he should look, I&amp;#39;m worried I&amp;#39;m doing something wrong,, vet says its cos he&amp;#39;s hand reared!!
