My dad made my guinea pigs hutch as he wasn't impressed with the quality of the ones in shops, too flimsy! Mine is very well insulated and waterproofed!

Ahh that is a shame - that'd be ace.

I love that my boyfriends Dad wants to make one for him - not sure what type he wants to make though.... might forward him some pictures

Wow cool! So it can be done then - I for some reason have got worried that a home made one wouldn't be safe and he'd escape. Silly me.

Oh my god! I WANT THAT ONE!!!! It's a bunny mansion. That's exactly the kind of thing I want only I can't afford that. Hmm, how good is my boyfriends Dad at building such things I wonder?

It's ideal. He'd love it. He is a house rabbit but obviously when we're not in he lives in his hutch.

Yeah it is a really nice one. I think what it is is that I feel bad that the little man can't stretch his legs when he's in his hutch when we're out so wanted a run so he could have a hop about. Hmmm....

Button I acctually like this one, he'd be off the floor away from preditors and you can put blackets/plastic over the front overnight to keep the cold/frost out.

Think he wants to build one with a run. Coop has a hutch inside but I'm thinking about moving him into the yard whilst it's warm (bringing him inside each day of course!) but so that for the times that no ones in he'll be able to get some fresh air outside in his run (but still have a hutch/area to hide or get shade).

My friends a carpenter n 3 years ago he out of the blue made me one for my new bunny which was soo sweet.. its lasted 3 yrs but i now have 2 buns so need to upgrade which im doing on satde- pets at home have a couple of good ones.. n then il build a run to attach to it saves a bit of money
