That's just how I feel some days when I see or hear about some of the stuff going on, and today has definitely been one of those days!

No. Unfortunately I haven't had much to do with his treatment as I can't have him in to work with me so have to rely on a succession of vets at a local practice, trying to not come across as a know it all nurse but hmmmm. Friends have also suggested prazosin and phensomethingelse I can't remember, neither of which I had even heard of, how embarrassing. I'm obviously out of touch with what is happening in practice these days

Will have more of a chat with vet tomorrow, I have seen good results with urethrostomies before too but don't want to put him through it if it can be managed better medically.... Thanks Sal x

one of my old cats used to have this problem - he did well after a urethrostomy. Must admit wasn't keen on the idea but my boss at the time was almost as frustrated as I was. . Just a thought but have you tried hypovase?
