Just because people own an animal does not make them experts in the area, having the right to slate everyone else's views and ideas. along with trying to teach a RVN

RE: Animal care forums RANT>>>

I'm in agreement with SAL on this one, giving advice in those sort of arenas under your (R)VN title is an invitation for trouble. Some people don't want to hear facts when they contradict with preconceived notions. Steer clear and give that valued advice direct to those that want it.

RE: Animal care forums RANT>>>

I avoid as much as I can these days - they are generally bad for your mental and physical health and well being. That being said some of the rabbit and rodent forums can be pretty informative if you make sure you double check thoroughly the information you may be given elsewhere.

Beware one of the degu forums as the information given re feed and husbandry for degus, gerbils and chinchillas can be a bit sus sometimes(mostly from a single poster who is also the admin, but if you dare to disagree you are barred).

I tend to not get involved these days, but if you do definitely DO NOT say you are a VN - you are asking for trouble!

RE: Animal care forums RANT>>>

James Colver Cert.
