Just thought I would post again on this - both cats doing well on the obesity diet.

now a successful changeover for one cat that has previously gone on hunger strike when I have tried to change his food so I am very happy.

Both cats have lost some weight. Haven't noticed a gas problem that we had with the R/D - so for now I am saying this is a good food for my cats

ok taste tested by my two - one will eat it till the bowl is empty (but in all honesty he isnt that choosy) and the other well the obesity was ok at a push and the hairball- well he would rather starve.

And what prompted this change in diet ?- apparently Hills Nature's Best chicken flavour for cats is in short supply, HS dont even list it anymore and a few other places we have used in the past are also out, and I have a little git that has refused anything but this for nearly the last 10yrs. (The rep that gave me a free sample to try 10yrs ago has a lot to answer for), so back to the drawing board
