Not sure the need for the anon account for this one - but interesting - I'm planning on a trip to the Eden project soon myself!
Bring it to the attention of the rspca. They will investigate this and stop people from using it
Personally, I think calling out the 5th Panzer Division is a bit OTT in the first instance. I mean, the shade and water the Eden Project provides for dogs is surely a good thing on a day that is not overly hot.

But perhaps they should add some text to their FAQs for the brain dead, to the effect that their shaded area is not suitable for dogs on hot days.

Then again, maybe the sheds already have some signage to that effect. Can't really tell from the photo.

RE: Eden Project encourage dogs to be left in cars??!!

Bring it to the attention of the rspca. A car in the shade is hardly a better environment for a dog on a hot day. They should ideally be encouraging owners to leave their pets at home or with dog care services. They ought to be careful how they advertise it too, ignorant people might think Eden is saying it's safe to leave their animal in the car all day simply because it's "in the shade".

I've seen an Ikea in Germany has produced dog "parking bays" where dogs are tied to a post in little areas of grass the size of parking bays in the shade by the store with a bowl of water. This is a little better, but the animals don't look like they are attended by anyone so at risk of being stolen.

I think at the end of the day, if it's a hot, it's better to leave pets at home where it's cool and safe.
