I left my training practice after I had finished my NPL and at my new job (also a training practice) my college requested I have a named clinical coach. Even though I only had a few weeks between joining the practice and taking my OSCEs. It might differ depending on the college you study with.

Also if you move jobs to a non training practice when you are still a SVN, you cannot undertake any schedule 3 procedures so effectively become a lay person.
