We are using petdent paste which has chlorhex in and we wont be swopping back once enzymatic comes back

Ceva are already having to change back to the old units as there are problems with the new ones leaking. I read about it on the adaptil facebook page.

They did provide us with a number of new diffuser heads to supply with new style refils for any clients that had bought the old style. Looks like we'll be changing them all back again now!

We've not had a problem getting synacthen recently, is there a problem with supply?

The main problem one for us is the enzymatic toothpaste products from Virbac. We're just about to launch a dental promotion and struggling to find alternatives that we like.

Synacgthen wise we use Tetracotoricide (think I've spelt that right) from Dechra (can only order for a named patient but isn't too bad if you have a few cushings cases can use them on a rotation basis - use at 5micrograms per Kg so not too bad,

Antepsin wise, I know we have some generic sucralfate tablets but no liquid, not 100% sure where we got it from....think maybe the local pharmacy. we have really cut back with the use of it, only using it for confirmed oesophagitis/gastric ulceration cases, there has not been and evidence on it's benefits preventatively.

I have been reliably getting synacthen all through the shortage from raman pharmacy, used to be called teyrra. They also get me sucrabest which is same as antepsin but have to get import cert for it. They also supply other things i have had recent issues with incl zinacef and moduret tablets.

Sadly we didnt get thyforon last week - must be bits and drabs coming through as we do have on back order. We are HS too

Our supplier is Henry Schein - tbh they do let you know about b/o most times but as we order at the end of the day sometimes the first you know something is a b/o is when it doesn't arrive.

We did manage to get some thyforon /forthyron 400 last week which was a relief as one client was starting to get a bit shirty and we had bugger all as an alternative to offer.

Possibly Thyroxine? We had a dog on it but was on b/o for a long time so use Leventa as an alternative!
