There is Napier too but I don't think the course is quite as hand's on from what I've heard... Might be wrong though! I was a Telford student and although it was tough I would do it all again - I loved it and there was tons of practical!

You can stay over the weekend lots of people do and tbh its more fun that way. plenty of time to study as well course is very well layed out and tutors are fantastic.

Yeah I could but would be quite hard going with the travelling every weekend and the studying as well

I actually did the Animal Nursing Assistant course there in 2014 and loved it! It's just that it's 4 hours away from me and 6 hours on the busses so not very handy to me :(

Have you considered barony college in dumfries? its a brilliant college and has the nicest campus grounds in my opinion and the lecturers are top notch!

I swear Ali doesn't get commission, honest! :) I have to say that the Edinburgh lecturers and trainers are a lovely lot. I can't speak highly enough of their dedication and professionalism; but yes, I do work for CAW in Huntingdon.

Yeah. I have heard some really good things about Thurso but also some bad which is why I'm sort of hesitant, but thanks for your opinion :)

hi there, I studied at north highland college in Thurso. Was bit of a trek to get there as was a6 hours car journey each way. Course was done in two week blocks and the people of thurso were really nice as they offer their homes for accommodation. Also quite scenic although a bit remote.i hated the long journey but the course itself was really good so suppose would depend on where you are from and how easy it is for you to travel to college.
