we have a foal tube too - you are right isnt that good if there are chunks of food or swelled up biscuit, but I worked out that if it blocks dont remove it - instead use a length of thinner bore/section suction tube fed inside the tube to flush and break up your blockage and this works very well.

Hi.

I ordered a portex small horse stomach tube from NVS and it's not as big as you'd think. There is a foal size also but it looked too small for chunks of food to pass through.
