The Vetsnow course is (apart from the final exams).

To all:

VNTimes had a competition this week to win £1000 to cover the cost of the Vetsnow course. You had to email 50 words to say why you wanted to do the course. Might be worth a go if any of you are planning on self funding!

I've just started the VetsNow ECC Cert VN and am loving it. Learning lots. It is hard work (way more than the approx 5.5 hours per week they advise) but you are very well supported and the course is fab.

I'm just coming to the end of the post graduate diploma in professional and clinical veterinary nursing at the rvc. It's a lot of work but I've found it very interesting and feel that it has enabled me to improve my nursing practice. The first year modules are set but you get to choose what you do in the second year. I opted for ECC, medical nursing and anaesthesia. The ECC module was really good!

I'm also considering the Vets now ECC or the Improve International NCert in ECC. Can't decide which one at the moment.

I completed the VetsNow ECC course in March and I'd say go for it. You learn so much, it can be challenging but you have 9 weeks per module. I've learnt so much and there are a lot of things I've taken back to practice to try and put to use.
