As someone else mentioned the moment I see anything relating to tea and cakes I would not be interested.. Again would want to know salary range, cpd allowance, hours/rota etc.. To be honest the 1:3 on call weekends would i'm sure be a big no no for most nurses or if I did consider them then would want to know time off in lieu given back or pay for doing this... It took my current practice 6 month to fill the RVN placement we had and our nurses are well paid, with an excellant rota and work life balance, no ooh plus we are well respected for being nurses.. but the problem is the general shortage of nurses so recuiting is really difficult at present, so you juts have to keep advertising and hoping, but would definately adjust you advert..

Hi, looking at your add, this reminds me of a previous discussion which referred to what we "us nurses" require and want in a advert. as we have all agreed its is not all about cakes and cups of T. also personally if I was to actually consider applying for any position a statement of salary would have to be visible, not just dependant on experience. such as an example

A great opportunity for an RVN to take this exciting PERMINATE head nurse and VN assessor role in an independent 100% small animal practice situated in a Surrey village between Guildford and Horsham.

Salary is £21500k+,

dependant on qualifications and experience. 20 holidays per year excluding BH
