What you are describing also sounds like the symptoms of having and under active thyroid. Are you sleeping well? Have you gained any weight?

i would try and check your health out to make sure there isn't something else there.

and working and training can be over whelming. It's a lot of work and leaves little time for relaxation and socialising, both of these can make you feel worse about the situation.

i hope you feel better soon.

RE: Despondent student :(

has anything else changed recently? ie has your workload increased, have you been given more responsibilities, changes in shifts, staff or anything like that? any changes in lifestyle that may be making you feel more tired? Apart from feeling tired are you feeling well?

Did you lose your enthusiasm before you started feeling tired or did you lose it as a result of feeling tired?

What is it you would like from a career in veterinary nursing? Do you anticipate that what you want is going to be achievable on passing the exam? or is it too distant?

Think about somebody you look up to in vet nursing - what do they have that you don't? and then think about what do you have that they don't?

When you say nobody listens to what you say - how do you know? People don't always verbally acknowledge a comment but it doesn't mean they haven't heard.

have a go at answering these questions and any more you can think of on paper just for yourself to see, you could also make a list of all the pluses and minuses of the job

When things are in black and white on paper it can sometimes make things a lot clearer for you and may help you to decide what is the best for you at this time.

Would have pm'd you this lot but wasn't sure if that was possible? Give me a shout if you think it will be helpful
