The reason I am writing this post is for help and advice really

RE: Clinical Coach - Training Students

Short scenarios asking what items they would prepare with/without drug or fluid calculations will help them in real nursing situations and help with their maths / calculations.

Also my cc used to write me anaesthesia calculation examples for fresh gas flow rates also helped me learn my circuits and and circuit factors for my practicals.

I personally tailor my tutoring to each student and support them in whatever they are least confident with - that may be spelling/terminology, interpersonal skills or handling needles/syringes without stabbing themselves! I pick whatever they need to focus on, appropriate for their stage/style of learning and abilities. I've developed an interest in learning theory over the past year (animals and people!) and it's fascinating how quickly students can learn when the content is delivered in a way which suits them individually.
