That's why there is a adding list for C&G, and I'm sure for CQ. You also need to read around the subject, articles are good.

What I learnt when doing these exams ( City and guilds) was never rely on the pink book - a lot of it is out of date or isn't in the pink book. I got loads of horse questions especially medical conditions, nutrition, just by luck i,m in a mixed practice and went out with the equine vet week before exxam as I think I would have failed these - some of my friends got no horse questions. Some of the questions could definately be worded a lot better - however we feed this back to our lecturers and they let C&G know. Good luck, I,m glad we get our results there and now. I,m sure you will be fine.

We got a question about a desirable object in theatre and a list all could be relevant dependaning on individual preferences - How is this testing our knowledge.

Have you been given a reading list? The big pink book is not the be all and end all of nursing knowledge.

i imagine the answer is milliseverts - my spelling my not be 100%!

you need to know this to assess any readings you get back, there are different levels for 16-18 year olds and over 18s.

as for the rest of the exam, you only remember the ones you had difficulty answering. The ones you answered quickly you forget!

I just feel like a lot of the questions were very harsh, an example of one was what do radiography dosimeters use as as unit of measurement? For a start that isn't even in the big pink nursing book and i also don't understand how things like that are relevant to practice, maybe a question on why we use them or where we wear them but the measurement?!?! All the answers began with M and i took a total guess, i cant even find the answer on google!!! Can some qualified nurses tell me whether this is common knowledge please?

One of our nurses has her a+p exam with cq today. Hope it's not the same.

I felt like this for paper 1 and paper 3 of our city and guilds exams but came out with a pass in both so try not to dwell on it too much hopefully it's all gone better than you think x
