That's a shame about your placement situation- I am going to be a mature student too, but wont be allowed to do the course at Craibstone until 2016. At the moment I am working full-time at a busy mixed practice and studying for the former pre-vet nursing course via distance learning. That would be great if you could find out about the days that the 1st and 2nd years attend college- i thought it was thurs and fri for 1st years too but another poster emailed me to say it was thurs and fri! We were wondering if both years attended on the same days or if the 2nd years were maybe thurs/fri?

Many thanks

I'm not sure about the second year students, though but I can try and find out for you on Monday from one of the first year students who is in practice at the PDSA hospital where I volunteer.

Regards,

Since you have attended North East Scotland college do you know what days of the week the 1st year vet nurse students attend college & what days do the 2nd year students attend?

I do know the vet nurse students do 3 days at a veterinary practice and 2 at college but we are keen to know if both years attend college on the same 2 days or are staggered.

Many thanks

It might be worth contacting your BVNA representative in Scotland, as they'll have lots of contacts in your area - have a look on the BVNA website for contact details.
