Ask her to describe a time she dealt with a difficult patient, or a difficult client. "oh, they've all been lovely" is not the right answer.

Perhaps ask her to describe how she would react to a common situation in your practice - one that might not be in the strict job description, but something that you might expect someone to pitch in with.

Ask about any relevant work experience, always helps to know that someone really knows what the job is all about prior to potentially wasting a lot of time for them to realise it's not quite what they thought.....and I know it may sound obvious but keep your questions 'open' to avoid yes/no answers. Make sure you get them to relax from the start, that way you will get much more honest answers, start with something like " tell me about your favourite holiday" . Good luck

Flexibility, experience?

I find some interviews end up being a general chat and getting a feel of the persons confidence?

As a trainee, you dont know much about the career and are willing to learn everything you will need to know

Anyone
