I had a successful interview for Napier back in 2008 so might be able to help you - I realise their selection process may have changed a bit since then but I had an individual interview, group interview and an essay writing task. The individual interview was pretty short, discussing why I wanted to be a VN & what I thought the job entailed. The essay part was next; you had to write a short essay about something you had seen or experienced on your work experience that had influenced your decision in applying for the course. The group interview for me was the most challenging part as we had to discuss vet nursing in the media. At this time there weren't as many vetty TV programmes and certainly nurses weren't an integral part so I ended up yabbering on about Emmerdale (I know!).

My advice would be to be prepared for questions about your school subjects and why you want to be an RVN (although a love of animals is obviously essential they will look for more than this!). The essay will probably be a different question, try and read up about current animal related stories in the media in case it is something to do with this.

Best of luck and if you have any more questions give me a shout!

Ceri :) x
