It's a long shot but I hope someone here might know as I'm running out of time.
I need Professional Indemnity Insurance but no one seems to be able to cover me as, although I am a British citizen, I am not a British resident. No one

RE: Professional Indemnity Insurance if I'm not a UK resident?

Thanks Claire, sadly I was a flat out 'no', apparently they clearly (nor, not so clearly) specify in their policy documentation that they can only insure British residents.

I think I'm covered by the practice this time luckily but next time I may, like you, have to try to untangle this further!

RE: Professional Indemnity Insurance if I'm not a UK resident?

Hi, If you're through an umbrella company will they not cover you as you are classed as an employee. If not with an umbrella try graybrook Insurance. Although they couldn't cover me for other reasons they were very helpful and willing to listen rather than a flat out 'no'
