I can send you a revision document I made for my SVN?

Pharmacology can be confusing....for anaesthesia and analgesia pharmacology this book is fab...

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=anaesthesia+and+analgesia+book+for+veterinary+nurses&biw=1440&bih=824&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=7Us2VcvlJuHnywOtzICgAg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg#imgrc=TwOlhPx2zGvbmM%253A%3B6C3T4ZmdC6io-M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fecx.images-amazon.com%252Fimages%252FI%252F41JyGwoI1yL._SY344_BO1%252C204%252C203%252C200_.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.amazon.com%252FAnaesthesia-Veterinary-Nurses-Liz-Welsh%252Fdp%252F1405186739%3B244%3B346

And otherwise I would speak to a colleague and ask them to explain the action of the drugs, the side effects etc.

Also each time you draw up a drug think about what it is, how it will affect the animal and the possible adverse reactions... if you always have this mind set you will always be in the know.

For new medications read up on what you are about to give.
