Ok just chkd website ,, she's not entitled to a full years holiday, boss is right just up till August. ,,

So if she has been employed for 5 years and leaves in August is she entitled to either take all her holiday for that year before she leaves or do they pay her for what's not taken, I'm confused as boss is saying its pro rata now she's announced she's pregnant!!

she gets her full year holiday entitlement .

get paid for leave
build up (‘accrue’) holiday entitlement during maternity, paternity and adoption leave

I've got 2 pregnant staff so just been doing all this.

Thnks but above post is just about stat maternity pay I wanted to know how she stood re holiday she has left etc, boss wants to do this now by pro rata up until she leaves

If you are a member of the BVNA you can use the BVNA Advisory Service who will be able to advise you of the rules and regulations regarding maternity leave, pay, holidays etc.
