You have to be employed in a practice and go to college one day a week. Most people tend to start out this way as an employed kennel assistant/receptionist etc for a while until the practice may send them to college. This was what happened in my case, and I am a paid student (would not be able to do it otherwise! I started at 25 years too) However these placements can be quite rare to find!</p> <p>I have not heard of many people doing the L3 diploma full time with block placements/degree with block placements that are offered a wage.
