 I&amp;#39;ve rung ER vets. and Pet Medics (I live near Wigan). Any other vets open on a Sunday? Also rang stupid Leigh Cats and Dogs Home but apparently stray cats don&amp;#39;t get taken there. Both for 24hrs. The first time he was locked in my neighbours garage. Don&amp;#39;t know where he went the second time, but he came back.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s so worrying, they can lose their scent if its windy though...when that happens as awful as it sounds, put yours (or a mans work best) socks outside. One of our regular cats once went missing (from home, not the cattery!!), owners phoned all vets to report it, leaflet drop round whole area, posters up all over&amp;nbsp; - no response at all. &lt;p&gt;One of my cats went missing for about a week and then walked back into the house one eveing demanding supper. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is always worth while asking neighbours to look in their sheds and garages. &amp;nbsp;Is it half term in your area?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;As people may have shut up sheds and then gone away so it is worth asking around especially if a neighbour is keeping an eye on a friends house.&lt;/p&gt;

I advertised every3 days or so in the local paper and posted loads of notes.. I had almost given up hope, when she got brought back... It was a happy reunion all round!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Rang Vetcare and the oncall vet said ring them tomorrow between 11 and 11.30 as they&amp;#39;ve got an emergency clinic on.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ll try Armac.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The only neighbours house Flick has ever been in is next door, and he only goes in when we are there.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have a suspiscion that he goes quite far on his night time prowls though.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My batfink went missing for a whole week. In the end she was shut in next doors house whilst they were away on holiday! Naughty little girl&lt;/p&gt;
