the oral paste of ivermectin i can't remember the name of, but has good results. All i do remember is that rats don't do well with the subcut of ivermectin.

il have a look at that too then, you think i could get this and wash her with it every so often as a prevention (weekly, monthly) or just to get rid with the ivermectin aswell

??

Re: bloody rat of mine!!!!
as far as I am aware Sarah, Ivermectin comes in a spot on for small animals - furries.

Dont go using all those above products at once though - could result in a very small system overload!
lol dont worry i wont! just gona get rid first then discuss which of the others will be best long term

bless her shes back in her cage now with newspaper on the floor (because all her other beddings can allow the beasties to hibinate) with her food bowl and her house, its like a prison cell until i get her washable toys done and buy her some new ones!!

oh dear lol

thanks for the help though girlies, very appreciated!!

Re: bloody rat of mine!!!!

We have had brilliant results, on small furries using a shampoo called "small animal dip".

Re: bloody rat of mine!!!!

as far as I am aware Sarah, Ivermectin comes in a spot on for small animals - furries.

Rat lice are only on rats :) Ivermectin is the way to go treatment will kill hatched lice but not eggs. So be sure to do at least two
treatment cycles, about 10 days apart and I think you can prevent them and long term treat with Advantage, Stronghold or Program.
