We've also recently had a massive problem with BOC, they've charged us for a valve which their delivery driver took off and told me it was ours to keep. The customer service rep essentially said I was lying and was of no further help and refused to refund. My last practice is also owed A LOT of money for rental of cylinders which they didn't have! Again, BOC refused to accept responsibility!

Sorry for the rant, but I would love to know if there is someone else who supplies O2? (hopefully this will push the thread up?) :)

We used Air Liquide for a couple of years because BOC didn't supply our area. We had no problems with them but they only delivered to on a certain day each week. Then they informed us that they could no longer supply us because we are outwith their area so now using BOC.

We use Air Liquide for medical O2.
To be honest I would say I prefer the service from BOC compared to them! With BOC if we placed an order we would have it the next day whereas with Air Liquide if you don't get your order in before 12pm you wont get it for 48hours - sometimes longer if the numpty in the office forgets to process it (which has happened on numerous occasions).
They will also only do a like for like order. So if we only have 2 cylinders to return but would like 4 in stock we simply can't have them until we can return 4 empties.
Only plus side is you don't need the little keys to open the Air Liquide cylinders so if they go missing it doesn't matter :)

same here. we have just gone to an oxygen concentrator - would have preferred a generator but its still better than BOC and loads cheaper when you compare the yearly cost of cylinders. We do keep a cylinder on each machine in case we lose power but we wont be needing a monthly delivery from BOC anymore
