I don&amp;#39;t think there&amp;#39;s been a paper on it; any reasonably educated guess would still have acres of space for errors. eg referral clinics perform hardly any bitch spays, and low cost neutering clinics do almost nothing but bitch and cat spays...it would be a fascinating thought experiment but I haven&amp;#39;t the foggiest where to find that answer.&lt;/p&gt;
