Given the amount of motorway driving l do though it was not bad.

It is sheer terrifying to be in a car accident. Been there, done that, got the shirt when a guy jumped a red light and smacked us side ways causing the car to spin over ten times. How my hubby held on to stop the car rolling i just will never know. I hope your car is back in good order soon, but take it easy as this really is enough to shake you up for a while yet.
