Thank you for your reply and sorry for my late reply...

I am looking forward to the CPD and I just saw I might be able to do a RSPCA in house suture course as well

I have heard more about the fact of not being able to put it to practice and I think that will count for me too unfortunatly but at least I have tried to gain more knowledge

Hello,

I went on a in house CPD with the PDSA regarding schedule 3. Was ok practicing suturing techniques but didnt really help with what to do with stitch ups, choices for wound management or any others like aural haems and tail amps.

Luckiliy at the PD I get to do quite a bit of schedule 3 so, am able to practice different options.

My friend however, went on the CAW suturing day and she found it very informative, although since going has not had chance to put these new skills to the test.

I think the best thing is to find a vet /experience nurse at work who is willing to help you with these things, thats half the battle.
