Been a while since I last came on. I left my last practice, as great as it was to work there, for a change in direction. Had a lovely two years working from home and spending time with my husband and young son. I still worked in the animal

Re: Book recommendations.

By far my most used book has to be my dictionary of veterinary nursing by Lane. I would also definitely say either the BSAVA (5th edition) or Aspinals textbook of veterinary nursing (second edition) are my next frequently used books. Aspinals writing style is fab but as a student I found the BSAVA book to have more exam material so I'd probably go for Aspinals textbook as an RVN.

Hope this helps and you enjoy getting back in to it!

Re: Book recommendations.

Hi :) Great that you got a job so quickly! Book wise I usually but mine on eBay second hand or if you're a member of the bvna you get discount off books by certain publishers. The textbook of vet nursing is invaluable and all the bsava manuals are great but really expensive. I'm studying for my emergency certificate so I've got loads of books about that but I use my nursing textbook for all the assignments I've written for the course. Good luck for Monday :)
