Many thanks that's really helpful. I did think it might be difficult to organise, and interesting to hear that it's hard to get attendees at the moment. I have a lynwood quite near me so will contact them. Thanks Steph!

I know that there have been some BVNA CPD meetings at Lynwood, (not sure how close that is to you exactly) if you message Sarah the BVNA RCO for the region, I'm sure she will be happy to try and help out by getting some more meetings in the area if she can

As for organising your own, it is a lot of hard work, trying to find affordable venues, speakers, topics that people want to listen to (and pay for) we had a meeting at BVNA congress for the RCO's and we have all said it has got harder to get people to meetings at the moment, we are not sure if that's due to an increase in webinars etc

I think if you were to try and organise your own meetings, you would have to be prepared to put in quite a bit of your own money to start with ( I have spoken to other people who have set up their own CPD providing companies ) for venue, catering, speaker, marketing. not that I am trying to put you off I am just trying to be realistic.

As for accreditation - there isn't really an accreditation scheme for CPD except for SQP points which need the lecture to have AMTRA accreditation.

Dorset, nearest places that have cod seem to be Southampton, Portsmouth, Bristol. All a bit of a drive away!
