I don't think your being over sensitive at all. Sounds like you've been totally reasonable and its people at work who at fault here.

I'm not being funny but it sounds like your HVN is being totally unreasonble. You have had a major problem with your knee and she needs to give you a break, otherwise you will be off sick again. For longer.

Maybe go and have a quiet "word" with her, and explain that you left that flaming office as you found it!!!!

Hugs from over here. So sorry to hear about your situation, I've unfortunately been in situations like this, particularly the debt due to an ex. Nice of them.

All I can say really is keep your chin up, things will get better, I know its a cliche but I've found it to be true, talk to whoever you can, friends, us lot on here, family, the animals

I personally find talking to someone a great release and makes me feel a hundred times better, but I know everyone is different.

Are you thinking of staying at your current practice? Could you try talking to people at work about how you feel?
