I am guessing it means the fixers and chemicals used for a manual x-ray as digital really has no waste.
I have finally finished all of the my x-ray equipment....i think.

There are plenty of places that will collect waste chemicals. Chemicals are decanted into different colour coded barrels so not to cause a chemical reaction. Usually this can be arranged with the company that collects your clinical waste. You could discuss the use of a silver trap. You should compare the main three types used in veteribary industry. I don't think many practices use manual wet dele oping these days. There are wet automatic processors, computed radiography, so the use of a phospurous plate and cassette reader and Direct Radiography, which cuts out the use of a cassette and the image is digitalised and shown on screen. Think it would be good to compare and contrast all three types advantages vs disadvantages. More than likely they want to know monitoring equipment employed within xray ie control/environmental badges and personal monitoring badges. Maybe also mention PPE used as well to protect the operator.

Re: X-ray waste disposal

We used to get our fixer & developer waste collected by the Pet Crematorium for disposal.
