I have the drinkwell platinum fountain, and it's lovely and quiet, and you can adjust the flow rate of the water

Well he managed to slip out the door this evening and has come back looking very smug with a vastly reduced bladder size :-)

Catit fans: I can find two online, quite different, one looks like a plant pot, one has a dome that the water flows over.. Anyone tried the Catmate fountains?

Ive had a catit fountain for years and cats love it, i replace the filter every 3 months or so, 4 cats drink from it no problems. I have 1 male cat that loves dripping taps tho and will wait in the bath for u to turn the tap on!

I have four house cats three males and a female my biggest worry is one of them blocking, I've got two water fountains they seem to prefer that I'm always re filling it mainly as one of my younger ones likes to make his toys swim! My female drinks out af the bath, the fountains are noisy and constantly make me need to wee! But their worth it, My one cat has had struvite he now has one pouch once a day with water added to the jelly to ensure more water intake

still working on it actually.

this is the one out of all those I have tried that I have had the most success with

but the cat that really needs to use it prefers a dripping tap in the bath - so that is what happens most of the time.

the prawn idea is a good one to try as well must admit I have resorted to putting a very small amount of the water out of a tuna can in the drinking water before and that works reasonably well too

Drinkwell fountains are great for some, but I found that not all cats like them. My current Maine Coons just think it is a play thing.

However if you bottle some water and add a prawn and leave it for a while then use this as the drinking water in a bowl most fussy felines think that water is more attractive than ever before !!!
