Arlo may as well drive you nuts with requests!

As we do not get points for the profile files down/upload, would you be able to change the present @ work to Work Photos and put up another one Work Files.

I will then upload my stuff in a sort of mush stew into that. It will also allow others to do the same, they wont be in neat files but hey ho!, at least we could keep photos and files separate and get chocolate damm l mean points.

Sad l know but life needs a bit of fun and trying for points give me an aim as all l seem to do is work otherwise.

Nope can confirm that points are not given for up/down loading files in the profiles any chance you could arrange that please Arlo?

By the way Arlo you get points for uploading l just uploaded some as an experiment to the main files and it added points. I uploaded to my files and no points.

Not sure why l have become points obsessed by the way. I think it may be that they are somehow infused with chocolate.

Yup but folks do not know they are ther eor actually go into the files unless suggested. Anyhow read Mrs Dot Dot.. see she also wants more we is all like oliver twist

Again, not sure what you mean, but you can upload multiple files like Caro has (look at the right hand menu in her profile). Is that what you mean?

Hi Caro,

I'm not sure I can! But I'm also not sure whether it's necessary. If you're talking about linking to your uploaded files (hospitalisation sheets etc) , there is already navigation to those files from the right hand side.

Could you increase the character count in the profiles please Arlo I am trying to put the link in for the files in my profile and it wont let me. If you allowed 500 it will allow more freedom but wont overwhelm the signatures... pleaseee!!!

Hi Caro,

I am pretty certain that the points system doesn't give you points for uploading, but instead gives you points when other people download (which would make sense!).

No I couldn't copy your file structure in the main gallery (I can't create subdirectories of work and if I could, I would need to know that lots of members wanted a particular set up like that).

But if you are getting points for downloads, that solves the problem anyway.

Hi Arlo with the files l have a large request if it is possible:

Could we have separate folders named as l have in my profile files but with the prefix Work. It would be easier to find in the main gallery having the same prefix. (but without the @ cause it doe not look tidy. Could rename that Work Photos may be (sorry l did say l am a neatness freak )

Work Protocols:
Work Drug Doses:
Work Anaesthetic Forms:
Work Hospital forms:
Work Lab:
Work Medical:
Work Fluids:

I will then cross upload my files l have under my own name into there as it looks like we are a no go on the points at least for now. If the points were available then l would have left them in my files cause l have them all neatly arranged in folders.

If we have folders though it will also help with other people uploading as well when everyone is on here. That means photos can go into the one section but info sheets will have their own folders.

I have about 40 (roughly) more work related info sheets to upload into the various sections l have in my own profile. They would look a big splat hence wanting to at least try and keep them in correct folders.

I have held off doing more uploads until all points were sorted (ok so l am greedy) and confirmed and also because l did not want to hassle you about all the new files in case you felt that was to much.

In some things l am a neat freak so l want to keep them in correct folders it makes it neater and easier to find items and l did not want to over hassle you.

Hi Caro,

Yes, that's fine.

Whether you upload files to the main galleries, or the galleries in your profile, all members can see your files.

You can upload anything to your own gallery (within limits of file size and legality!). However your gallery is not linked to from main navigation, so files you upload there will be seen only by people that view your profile, or if you link to your gallery from, say, a forum post.

You can only upload stuff that fits in with the editorial theme to a main gallery (i.e. your pet to the Pet's Corner main gallery). However, as main galleries are permanently linked from the main site navigation, things uploaded to the main galleries are likely to be seen by more members.

In some cases, it may be appropriate to upload to both a personal gallery and a main gallery.
