Hi Shearer & Sandra,

Thanks for that! I didnt realise until yesterday that I wasnt actually a RVN. Its all very confusing, I assumed I would be on the list automatically as I obviously read the thing wrong. Needless to say, my senior vet was very shocked I wasnt already registered when I presented her with the forms for her to witness earlier today!

I'm ok STRVN, was thinking of phoning you earlier, but didt want to hold up your line incase Steph may be trying to getthrough

You can request to go onto the register Paula, you dont have to stay on the list.

You are right it is anyone who qualified on or after 2003 who automatically go onto the register.

Hi Saskia VN,

As you qualified before 2003, you have to elect to enter the register. I'm sure that you can do this by contacting the RCVS, I had to sign a form and have it witnessed by another professional known to me. It was basically an agreement that I would abide by the VN bylaws for registration.Until you inform the RCVS that you wish to register, you remain on the list. Its also free to register
