Sorry to hear that you can't stay there Danielle, for £20 a night for the days was quite a bargain. Though there are other places in the area which might have good deals at the time.

Got my info pack this morning, excited and nervous at the same time especially when I read how essays etc are graded!! Looking forward to it though.

I did a CPD course there and there is a holiday inn not far away. The onsite accommodation I was in was pretty grotty, wished I had paid more for holiday inn!

received my pack today! yay!

very unhappy though as dispite booking my accomoation last year I have a letter enclosed informing me that due to high demand I can not be offered any accomodation onsit at the RVC! Oh dear the alternative accomodation is so much more expensive! Has anyone else received the same letter?

I know i'm so excited can't wait to receive my pack either maisy! exciting times ahead!

I'm staying at the RVC for the study week hopefully we'll be able to meet up! Would be very greatful of some company!

hi maisie, congratulations too!!

course has been good so far and i have learnt loads!! although has been a struggle trying to fit in study and full time work!!! and the fact that we were the first group to complete the course, so had nothing to compare anything too!

i am going to to ecc and fluids, surgical nursing and radiography!!

let me know how you get on, hope you enjoy your study week, its a good idea to keep in touch with your fellow students aswell, as they will provide you with some great support!!

is anyone staying at the rvc for the study week??

Sarah, good to hear from someone who is on the course. How has the first year been? What subjects are you choosing for 2nd year? Good luck with exams and the rest of the course

well done!! i started it last year and have got my exams in a couple of mths, its a great course and have learnt lots!! one of the nurses at my practice has just been accepted too!! x
