We are currently debating whether clean up should be done first to remove gross contamination and then bomb- or do you bomb and then clean?

Also, good idea to check out your air con filter system / last time it was de-fluffed etc as this can be a carrier of bugs galore which are then merrily spread into the environment!

Cleaning first makes sense to me- I guess there could be some crazy zoonotic airborne disease that would require decontamination before entry to the room but it seems unlikely! I'll try to get a new operating procedure installed at work- wish me luck!

Thanks again.

Re: Airstel protocol?

Hi,

We steam clean, then deep clean (disinfect with scrubbing action) then bomb, then swab and culture to test results.

Not sure if this is the way to do it - it's been a few years since I used them but I think that's what we were advised to do

Hope this helps
