Today I mashed a mahooosive bowl of spuds with my new spud masher. Now, call me daft (you won't be the first) but was it far far easier because I bought a new masher from the Pound Shop or because I've been doing press-ups every morning in a bid to keep fit and my biceps are stronger? Both? Whichever - I am proud. Silly that isn't it?! Just thought I'd share my lovely afternoons endeavours with y'all. Laters... (potaters...heheh)

mental note to stay well clear of Ali h when she is armed with a tatty masher - or employ her as a bodyguard.

my proud bit for the day was waiting while everybody else in the practice had either gone to lunch or gone home and braving the scales. I wouldnt say that the weight is dropping off me ( in fact its very happy where it is thank you very much and is hanging on for grim death at the moment) but today I finally hit that magical first stone off. (well 1st and 2lbs to be accurate - and I hope our scales are?)

my disappointing bit for the day was missing being able to see the spitfire flying directly over our unit because I was dealing with a client who wasn't in the slightest interested and wasn't in any hurry

Re: Strong arms and my potato afternoon.

Because of the press ups!
