Does anyone know a website that provides this online and is recommended?

So true..

At ONCORE we have a 'Low Stress Handling in Cats' module - this looks at the thoeretical background in feline behaviour/stress and then we look at how to make life better for cats in practice. Tutor is Linda Ryan who has a lot on knowledge, and also on dog and cat behaviour! The course in 2 weeks, online, interactive.

*chuckle* ...where's that Batman picture when I need it...

Generally cat training is quite simple, you adopt the cat and within about 2 weeks you're quite well domesticated and doing whatever the cat demands, at the drop of the cat.

Seriously though - here at CAW we don't have any cat behaviour courses this year but it's something going on the list of short courses for next year. I suspect that this isn't quite soon enough for you, however.

COAPE (http://www.coape.org/events_details.php?id=7) have a 'Think Cat' course that starts in Feb and Sep and costs £395, lasting 9 months; I haven't heard feedback on it yet as I believe it's quite new.

Cats Protection do a free online 'understanding feline origins' course (http://www.cats.org.uk/learn/e-learning-ufo) you might try that but i don't think it's aimed at the nurse level; if you do try it please let me know what you think! It's got some good common sense stuff in there if you're looking for advice to give to clients. (We haven't had anything to do with it, I'm just curious what you think.)

Aside from that you've got many, many behaviourist organizations (ASAB, APDT, APBC, ABT, IAABC, etc) and the one thing they all agree on is that their own organization is right and all the others are absolutely wrong.

Good luck!

or Compass Education do some good courses on animal behaviour

These won't be specific veterinary but are behaviour ones (If they run any for felines... I am just throwing ideas that I haven't looked into myself!)

Re: Cat Psychology and Training

Calling Mark Hedberg!
