Be aware that they need the filters at the top and bottom cleaning regularly or the temperature will become too high and the light turns red.

Re: Fridge

Its only safe to have a small fridge wall mounted - max 60 litres capacity due to the weight issue. However these small fridges can also sit on a worktop for ease of access.

Be aware that 'domestic' type fridges cannot guarantee all parts of the interior remains in the +2c to +8c range suitable for temperature sensitive vaccines and pharmaceuticals. Whilst many practices monitor their domestic fridge's temperatures using a data logger these recordings can often be misleading as they are usually only measuring the middle of the fridge, whereas the bottom can fall close to zero running the risk of freezing - and the top section barely achieving +10c both which are outside the recommended range. Proper 'vet fridges' incorporate internal fans to circulate the interior air temperatures to create a more even temperature distribution.

There are ones that you could put on a strong shelf - and it would need to be strong or maybe you could stand one on a base unit to give it extra height.
