I had this in a few but it was because she had sampled a skill that I hadnt claimed competency and left me guidance such as get one older cat for setting up kennels and claim. I hate them makes it untidy :)

Hey, I had this with my own npl and it was because my comments didn't reflect or accurately cover the criteria required for that skill

Check the date the IV sampled it. It may before she was marked as competent. If it's after you will need to collect more evidence.

Has the IV left a comment on why they have been marked as not correct? If so I would get the student to do whatever action is required and then claim and rejudge competency. Can you query it with the IV if your still not sure? X

The skills have also been signed off as competent by the previous CC and then checked by IV so not sure if I leave it or have to get the student to complete whats wrong and then re claim it as competent

Our college IV marks things like that if she has checked the skill but it hasn't been completed and signed off as competent. I just check I'm happy once my student claims and sign it off as normal. I guess they can't make it checked at satisfactory as it's not a completed task yet. Hope that makes sense?! Jane x
