I've looked through loads and most only do 3 meals or they measure the portion size in cup sizes! What is that in grams then? :) I need specifics

Re: Automatic dry food dispenser for cats.

My feeder is the Cat Mate C3000.

You can set it to release the amount of food you want (can be different amounts each time) 3 times a day and at the times you want. It doesn't say the amount in grams but the way I worked it out was i set it at an amount then did an 'advanced feed' so this amount came out and then i weighed it. i did this until i found the amount i needed to be released for each meal. You fill the tub and so it will feed your cat for a couple of weeks, it doesn't need filling very often. the batteries also lasted months so i wasn't worried it would run out of battery, it also has a battery warning on it anyway. I used it to feed my 2 cats (they ate at a similar pace) for months and I loved it. Was brilliant to be able to set a 3am feed, so they didn't wake me up! :)

If you can get over the fact that it is only 3 times a day instead of 4, then this is a great feeder!!

Re: Automatic dry food dispenser for cats.

Yeah, I might have to resort to one like that, just thought there would be one like I described on the market for cats. But there doesn't seem to be. Hmm, patent pending! :)

Re: Automatic dry food dispenser for cats.

Hi, have you looked at the catmate one that spins round at a preset time and has 4 compartments so you can leave how much you want in each one ?
