This is what I used as well as picked the vet's brains when out on calls helping with the horses. Bet he was glad to get rid of me that day. Equine veterinary nursing is ok for basic equine anatomy should be enough to pass exams with - stay appartus muscles etc.

Re: help having problems passing the paper 2 exam by city and guilds

Thank you for the reply and tips, its doesn't totally break it down but get you idea of yours weaker learning outcomes. I have problems mostly with the anatomy sorceing only 50% but each of the papers are different and found not all papers will have a similar subject if that makes sense. I going out out for the studying for this any good horse anatomy book you know of ?

Re: help having problems passing the paper 2 exam by city and guilds

I passed first time but i had about 20 horse questions where my friend had none. I was lucky as i'm in a mixed practice so knew majority of answers. I don't think it's fair everyone gets random questions, you could fail your paper but pass your friends. I got a lot of neuro and muscles questions and no renal system. Breeds - I got snakes, birds and rabbits. Where are you going wrong mostly - do you have a print out of your report. See where you could make up points.

Don't know if this helps my horse questions included exertional rhabomylosis, pars intermedia dsyfunction and laminitis - may help to read up on that and the impact of nutrition on these conditions, also I was asked about different types of horse shoes and what they were for. We weren't taught that just by luck I looked at a farriery site

Good luck. Hope you get a 4th attempt.
