Have a look at IMS for your disposables, we have saved a small fortune!

NVS have always been excellent, I dont know what happening with the out of stock things, I know sometimes there are manufacturer problems x

For needles and other consumables we tend to use IMS who are great ans their prices are alot cheaper than NVS. We got our synathcen Equivalent drom DECRA labs. you have to call them and i think it has to be specifically for a patient but you get a huge box. :)

We use Henry Schein, there have been a lot of items out of stock but think this is down to manufactuers. We also use Safavet for all our consumables because they are a lot cheaper than Henry Schein and it is next day delivery but because of where we are we don't get our delivery that quick so check with them.

NBA are a pain in the backside, have been told by antepsin manufacturers it is now discontinued! And we now get our Zantac injectable from our local chemist!!

They do but dont know what it is off top of my head. I know they are based in scotland. We just opened an account with them then order as we want - next day delivery

That's interesting to know. How do you go about dealing with Munro? Do they have a website?

We got synacthen from teyrra a human wholesaler. They also have zantac. We use them and munro - both human suppliers and very often they have whatever is out of stock with vet wholesalers but also a lot of the time tons cheaper - such as gabapentin and tramadol.

Yes lots of things on back order, also seem to be getting a few short dated drugs. Like end of August or sept expiry.

We use centaur now and have had some issues with out of stocks. Antepsin Zantac augmentin and synacthen all have manufacturing issues at the moment so you can't get them through any wholesalers that I know of. We did manage to source some augmentin through a friendly local chemist as it's only available for human use at the mo. You can get a drug called Tetracosactide as an alternative to syntacthen but it has to be ordered directly (can't remember from who sorry!) . Even chemists can't get Antepsin! Hope things improve and a little of this info helps x

Antepsin...january 2015...I was asked if I would like to back order. What's the point for back ordering something for 6 months time

We too have had this problem for years. So we are moving to henry schien. Prices are nearly the same with the exception of food, which seems to be cheaper.

Yes. Same problems here and could add to this list! They have randomly sent me some drugs too and then when I have returned them (within 24hrs) have sent them back saying outside return date.
