Able to be syringed much easier without having to water down like A/D. Recovery is much higher in calories so even if the patient manages a bit of the Recovery it is still better - to achieve the same amount of calories of A/D the patient needs much more. Usually these patients are unwilling to eat so you know you are doing a good job getting in the higher calorie Recovery.

Re: RCW

Thank you for all the replys. Looks like Terri-Ann has been able to give you the answer! Recovery is a really nice high calorie, highly palatable product and is great for some of your critical and anorexic/fussy patients. It will syringe nicely, I find the catheter tip syringes work well as they have slightly wider bore tip than the standard syringe. If you need any more info please do contact your VBM (rep) or our nutritional helpline.

Re: RCW

Got this from my Rep earlier :)

"Hi Terri-Ann

Yes there is. It is Called Recovery. It is £25.80 for a tray of 12 200g tins.

You can just take it out of the tin and let the animal lap it. You can cut or slice it.

You can also tube feed it via a 10fg tube or bigger. You just let the tin come up to room temperature and then stir the contents and you can then syringe it easily. "

Re: RCW

it's called recovery I think
