Don&amp;#39;t use Oats so Simple it&amp;#39;s processed and has other additives in it. I was always led to believe that once the spots were out you were no longer contagious... but thats not the case, you are contagious until the spots have disappeared, which can take a couple of weeks at the very least.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I had them at age 17 and I was ill, my hubby was 27 and bed ridden with them.The older you are the worse you feel.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Luckily I had it when I was a kid.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think as an adult it can turn into shingles, which are supposed to be horrible.&lt;/p&gt;
