 Quick question! 
 Is it legal to take unused/OOD medication abroad for a charity trip? i am trying to help a charity that are in need of any discarded items that could be beneficial. Do the VMD allow this? &lt;p&gt;Taking them with you isn&amp;#39;t really covered by VMD as its already against VMD regulations for the practice to give them to you. Any unused (this means &amp;#39;returned&amp;#39; as in physically left the practice and came back, not drugs dispensed for inpatients then unused) or OOD drugs should go in the pharmaceutical bins, but of course there are LOTS of charities out there who would welcome them. You&amp;#39;re welcome to drop me a line at denise@wvs.org.uk for some more info on whats best to do with your drugs.&lt;/p&gt;
